Happy New Year Salmon Bay families!

New info included about PIE Winter/Spring 2014 events. The community page with parenting classes and lectures has also been updated. Our next event is the aging parents panel on Tuesday, January 28 from 7-9 pm in the Cafetorium.  Hope to see you there. 

Raising Our daughters book group meets tonight!! 7 pm

Raising Our Daughters Book Club for parents of girls in 5th-8th grades. 7:00 - 8:30 or 9:00 pm.  Bring wine or a snack to share, or don’t ~ either way is fine!

"I picked up a copy of Minimalist Parenting form the public library.  It is a book that just came out in March and will provide interesting fodder for a conversation amongst parents.  I have a few folks already signed up and I limit the group to 15 so that it can still be a conversation.  Come enjoy an evening out with some wine, wonderful snacks great conversation and an opportunity to connect with folks in the Salmon Bay Community."

Thursday November 7, 2013 Kim Estes from Savvy Parents/Safe Kids is coming to Salmon Bay!

Please mark your calendars for Thursday November 7, 7-9 pm in the cafetorium. We are excited to have Kim Estes come speak. She will talk about topics with our K-8 aged kids in mind.

We all want to keep our kids safe… join us at this workshop and learn easy tips and tools that make safety fun not scary. No graphic conversations. No scare tactics. For parents of kids K-8.
